- Clear development prospects for agriculture, the agri-food sector and participation of farms
- Clear responsibilities in public authorities
- Close cooperation and knowledge sharing with farmers' organisations
- Interest and motivation of young people in rural areas to represent their own interests
- Regulated and legally protected payment structures
- Transport, communication and energy infrastructure
- Willingness of the older generation to pass on the farm
